History of Diplomacy in International Relations

This paper studied the history of diplomacy. First, has given definition of diplomacy in general. Secondly, attempted an explanation of history of diplomacy, comparing during centuries. Thirdly, diplomacy analyzed by focusing on diplomatic institution and main types of diplomacy which make possible the implementation of foreign policy of a country. Finally the study concluded on what is and what a state can do, realize and implement its foreign policy through good diplomacy which is always an instrument of good governance.

Manjola Hoxha is graduated in International Relations at Selcuk Univeristy, Turkey. She has Master Degree in Political Science and International Relations by Epoka University, Albania. Currently she is PhD candidate at Institute of European Studies, Tirana University, Albania. She work as Head of Admission and Registrar`s Office at Epoka University
