A Mind of Her Own

Born in Paris in 1900, Alexandra Bouvier grows up believing she can achieve anything. But World War I and the Spanish flu shatter her world. Orphaned by eighteen, she sails to America to live with her newspaper-owning grandfather in Illinois. With his support, Alex studies journalism and earns a New York internship, where she meets crime reporter Oliver Foster. Torn between love and ambition, Alex pursues her dreams - helping change history for women to come.
